Natural Bug Repel: Miracle Tropical Resilience

Mad-pressed for time to meet a friend for a well-deserved getaway of camping on the beach, my one assignment on the road to the California State Park, as my friend put so eloquently, was to “stop and get some flippin’ bug repel so we don’t get chewed up over here.”

Dutifully, I headed to a small grocery store on the side of the road and got the least offensive bug repel I could. Unfortunately, EVERY single bug repel on the store shelf was loaded with chemicals.   Since it was my only choice, and there wasn’t a natural store along my path, I settled for a liquid spray called OFF! Deep Woods Insect Repellent.

When it comes to OFF!, I’m not ON! BOARD!  Despite Popular Science and others now deeming the controversial ingredient DEET as “safe” to use, many people concerned about toxic chemicals – especially moms – have been turning away from this ingredient and opting for natural bug repellents.  DEET is being hailed as “okay” to use, but “safer alternatives” are recommended.

DEET has been associated with rashes, skin or mucous membrane irritation, transient numb or  burning  lips,  dizzinessdisorientation, and difficulty concentrating. Headache and nausea were also reported.  Most everything online says to not INGEST DEET, so if put DEET on your skin and your hands come in contact with your skin, and then your mouth, you are pretty much screwed.  And doesn’t that tend to happen when camping, or err, ANYwhere?

As an alternative to DEET filled products, I’ve used essential oils and mixed it with water and put it in a spray bottle to fend away flying critters, that is, until I’ve found THE bug repel that is actually GOOD for your skin AND safe for babies – it’s called Miracle Tropical Resilience Bug Repel.  It’s a lot less “wet” by the way.Natural bug repel Anti-AgingAnalystNatural Bug Repel – Miracle Tropical Resilience

I worked for Holocuren part-time for a few years as a sales person and marketing consultant/coordinator and was particularly impressed with this all-natural formula.  It’s one of my favorites!  Miracle Tropical Resilience is a body lotion/bug repel with pure aroma oils of lemongrass and rosemary.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Lemony smell!  Like all Holocuren products, it contains Brazilian Bee Propolis and Australian Melaleuca Tea tree oil AND exotic plant nectars.  It was formulated in Kauai, Hawaii and even tested in the Kauai jungles as being an EFFECTIVE bug repellent.  And EFFECTIVE is the key word. (The man who formulated this product is the man who formulated Epicuren Skincare products, an exceptionally high-quality line found in high-end spas and salons.)

I’ve talked first-hand with people out in Texas, where mosquitoes are CRAZY huge, and I’m talking about people who live out on swamps and the Bayou, who slathered on Miracle Tropical Resilience and dared to walk outside and come back inside and lived to tell about it…with no mosquito bites!!!  One customer said “I’m LIVING PROOF that this stuff works.”  A gal pal I just gave a bottle to battle Maui mosquitoes said, “This stuff makes me happy.”

It’s NO FUN battling insects – so FINALLY there is something powerful and effective against mosquitos and other flying insects  that is GOOD for your skin!
