Scalisi Skincare Cleanser Exfoliator Review and GIVEAWAY !

Home/anti-aging skincare/Scalisi Skincare Cleanser Exfoliator Review and GIVEAWAY !

Just finding out about a new-to-me skincare line that combines the best of 3 worlds: Science, Beauty and Organic. It’s Scalisi Skincare, made by Jill Scalisi, who after 20 years of working on Wall Street, was diagnosed with skin cancer. She was unable to find healthy, proven, anti-aging products with SPF 30, so she did what any able-bodied entrepreneur would do – she partnered with top chemists to make her own line that stands out as different.

What sets Scalisi apart is that the products are both reparative and preventative when it comes to wrinkles.

Scalisi was kind enough to send me the cleanser and exfoliator to try. (All opinions are my own.) I’m giving one away too!!

When they said they had a combo cleanser/exfoliator, I immediately jumped on that. It’s a wonderful time saver using a combo product and it’s like getting a mini facial on a daily basis. It cleanses the skin without stripping away moisture. This 2-in-1 daily cleanser and exfoliator features tiny micro-beads to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, allowing new cells to surface.  The paraben free Cleanser and Exfoliator is formulated with jojoba, macadamia nut and sunflower oils to moisturize, while time released vitamins A,C, and E nourish skin and help provide antioxidant protection.

Loving the time-released vitamins!

I’ve used this cleanser daily (for the most part) in the AM for around 4 weeks now! I do enjoy the fragrance and love how soft my skin feels afterwards from the microbeads!

The Scalisi Skincare Cleanser and Exfoliator is formulated for all skin types.

– Hydrogenated Soybean Oil: Exfoliator
– Jojoba, Macadamia Nut & Sunflower Oils: Provide nourishment and moisture to hydrate the skin.
– Vitamins A, C & E: Nourish and help provide antioxidant protection.

In the morning and the evening, massage on wet skin using circular motions. Rinse with warm water. The Scalisi Skincare Cleanser and Exfoliator is $25, and available at, where you will find other products like a moisturizer, wrinkle cream and eye cream.  Impressive before and after picture, but they don’t say what products were used – I’m assuming the entire line – looks like a good line.  Check out their website at

For you label readers, the first ingredient is sodium laureate sulfate, not sodium laurel sulfate, which is the harsh surfactant. This ingredient is a milder cleansing agent due to a higher amount and different chemical structure of the fatty alcohols that required to manufacture this cleansing agent. The safety of sodium laureth sulfate has been reviewed by numerous industry experts and deemed safe as used (Sources: International Journal of Toxicology, Supplement, July 2010, pages 151S-161S; and Food and Chemical Toxicology, March 2001, pages 279-286).

Winner to be drawn randomly on June 1st.
